A Dream Come True: My Very Own Shop for the Day

One of the most special parts of the day was having the opportunity to take over a space and transform it into my own little shop for the day. There’s something so beautiful and fulfilling about creating a space that feels like home—where everything comes together to reflect your vision. To have the chance to create a warm and welcoming environment for my guests, filled with items I love, was nothing short of a dream come true.

A Huge Thank You to Kristen of Lavender and Lace Flower Farm

None of this would have been possible without the incredible generosity of Kristen, the founder of Lavender and Lace Flower Farm. Kristen graciously opened the doors to her beautiful store and allowed me to host this event in her space. The charm of the shop, with its cozy atmosphere and stunning floral displays, was the perfect backdrop for the day.

Kristen also offered her gorgeous floral arrangements for the event, bringing an extra touch of elegance and colour that made the space feel even more magical. Her flowers truly added a special element to the day, and I’m so grateful to have her as part of this wonderful community.

A Perfect Pairing with Momentous Coffee Co.

And let’s not forget the amazing coffee from Sharlett, founder of Momentous Coffee Co.! Sharlett brought her locally roasted coffee to the event, offering guests a delightful variety of brews. The lavender-infused matcha lattes were an absolute hit—refreshing and full of flavour, they were the perfect complement to the lovely vibe of the day.

Having Sharlett’s warm presence and delicious coffee at the event truly made the experience even more special. If you haven’t had the chance to try Momentous Coffee Co., I highly recommend it!

A Community Celebration

This event wasn’t just about shopping; it was about community. With each interaction, I was reminded of the power of supporting local and the importance of celebrating the people around us. I feel incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to connect with old friends, meet new ones, and be part of this wonderful event.

Generosity from Local Businesses: 7 Local Gift Baskets

When I first reached out to some of my favourite local businesses to contribute to the 7 local gift baskets we gave away, I was absolutely blown away by the overwhelming generosity. I never anticipated how many businesses would be so on board and so eager to contribute to the event.

Each basket was filled with incredible products from businesses that truly embody the spirit of community. From locally made candles to handmade jewelry, artisan soaps, delicious treats, and more, these gift baskets were a reflection of the amazing talent and heart within our local community. The generosity of these businesses made the day even more special, and I’m beyond thankful for their contributions.

I’m so deeply grateful for everyone who came out to support the event and made it so memorable. Whether you popped in for a quick visit or stayed for the entire day, your presence meant the world to me. It was a reminder of how much we can accomplish when we come together as a community and support each other.
