Strawberry Mug
How the strawberry mug is ready to ship
The shape of the mug is created using a custom made two part mold in a hydraulic press. I first create a mold for the shape of the mug that I would like using a 3D printer, after the model is created I use this to create a two part plaster mold. once the mold is ready to be used I press the shape of the mug and then trim and attach a hand formed handle. The next step is to allow the piece to fully dry before bisque firing it. After the piece has been bisque fired it is sanded and hand painted. Because each piece is handmade and hand painted each one is unique ♥️
This mug is microwave and dishwasher safe. For longevity I recommend hand washing.
