Heart spoon rest

The heart spoon rests are ready to ship
These spoon rests are created using a custom designed plaster mold. The spoon rests are was carefully designed using 3d printing software to create the negative of the spoon rest. After the negative is made we create a silicone mold that is then used to create the plaster molds for my hydraulic press. Each piece is pressed using the mold and then hand trimmed and detailed to create the edge for the spoon rest. After the spoon rest has fully dried it goes into the kiln for a bisque firing. After the bisque firing, the spoon rests are is sanded and ready to be glazed. The spoon rests with the red hearts undergo an additional firing to add the red heart.
The spoon rests are handmade with love and are dishwasher safe!
